Izzy and Sophie
This picture is actually Sophia and Isabel.
Our lives as an instant family of four is busy to say the least but we love it. We pretty much do everything on our own but have had lots of help with books, advice, dinners and just love and support from both families.

I have the girls on a great schedule thanks to a book Katie gave me. (On becoming baby wise)
It helps a great deal with feedings and sleeping. So much so that they now sleep 6 hours at night. Don't get me wrong, we do have our days of absolute madness but we deal with it.
Recently Isabel thru us a curve ball and started crying for hours. Thanks to Jana and some Gripe Water, her gas is no longer an issue. Now she just cries for someone to pick her up. She loves just being held and loved. Sophia loves to be picked up by John to sit on his lap and watch TV. Sometimes she just looks at him with a look of pure love, it makes anyone want to cry.
The girls recently started smiling at us, what a joy!!!! My favorite part of the day is their first morning big smile. John's favorite is when they kick just one leg and one arm as if they hear music.
ok, time to go......Isabel is crying and holding her breathe

First time blogger
Hello Everyone,
I have finally found a few moments to start this for our beautiful baby girls!!!!
Hopefully this will be easier than sending random emails with pictures. I would like to officially thank John's sister in law (Katie) for the inspiration.

This will be my first time blogging so please excuse any and all mistakes going forward.
A quick recap:
John and I married and almost a year later we were VERY surprised to find out we were expecting!!! So you could just imagine how surprised we were
to find out it was TWINS. Shortly after announcing our joy, I became
very ill for the next 6 mths.
On July 1, 2008 Isabel Ann & Sophia Jean Meadows were born. (Middle names after my sisters Ana Marie & Jeannette)
Yes, being sick was worth it!
